Lack of Intense compared with original Aoud

European, but true Middle East
I've been interested in fine perfumery for many years and at some point I dived into authentic Middle East perfumery. I got acquainted with attars from Al Haramain, Ajmal and Arabian Oud and the iconic Amouage attars. The characteristic feature of attars, especially those with oud, is that they have silky-soft quality, something reminding me of flowing honey.
Roja Dove Aoud has this silky honey-like feel. Unlike many European brad produced oud-based perfumes, that are often somewhat rough and scratchy in texture. It reminds me of Amouage Badr Al Badour and maybe Asrar.
At the same time, it has a very balanced, not overwhelming sillage, making it just as perfect for someone who never explored Middle East perfumery. The texture is more ethereal than we often have with attars which makes it universally wearable.

Aoud
